Dr. Anish K. Arora is an assistant professor in the Community Population Public Health stream within the Department of Health Sciences at ³Ô¹ÏÍø.
He received a BSc in Honours Biology with a minor in Psychology from McMaster University, followed by an MSc and PhD in Family Medicine and Primary Care from McGill University. He then went on to conduct Postdoctoral Fellowships at the University of Toronto’s Department of Family and Community Medicine and McMaster University’s Department of Oncology.
Dr. Arora’s research focuses on advancing people-centred health systems through several distinct but related lines of inquiry, including: piloting, evaluating, and scaling educational interventions for health professionals and communities; advancing conceptualizations around equity-oriented and inclusive care; strengthening collaborative practice and and exploring unifying frameworks in healthcare; addressing multimorbidity and syndemics through community-based interventions; and studying the intersection of religion and public health.
