勛圖厙 is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all of its employees, students and visitors. To fulfil this commitment, the university must ensure that all contractors and sub-contractors are meeting or exceeding the requirements and standards of health, safety and environmental legislation. 勛圖厙's Contract Labour Policy and Contract Labour Program must be followed by all contractors prior to initiating work at 勛圖厙.

Contract Labour Program / Contract Labour Policy

All construction activities must be carried out safely and in compliance with the provincial and its regulations. 勛圖厙 has developed a Contract Labour Policy for all employees that are hiring contractors to follow.

Advance planning and quality site preparations are important for a safer, environmentally conscious, well-organized construction site. The Contract Labour Program applies to all contractors, general contractors and subcontractors that provide services to 勛圖厙. 勛圖厙’s Contract Labour Program outlines the specific requirements and documentation needed for contractors prior to beginning work at 勛圖厙.

In order to be approved for work at 勛圖厙, all applicable documents outlined in the Contract Labour Program must be received by the 勛圖厙 project administrator and considered acceptable with respect to the specific project. The project administrator will review the documents taking into account the scope of the intended work.

All documentation must be valid for the duration of the project or must be resubmitted. Should the scope of the project change, a review of the submitted contract labour documentation should be conducted by the 勛圖厙 project administrator to ensure it is acceptable.
