Please note that on Thursday May 29^th and Friday May 30^th, 2025, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., the University’s annual fire alarm inspections will be taking place at the Research and Academic Centre .

Inspections will take place in both the East and the West Wing (RCW and RCE).   

This work will require the verification of devices (detectors, fire extinguishers, pull stations, emergency lighting, exit signage, etc.) in individual offices, classrooms and any other location in which these may be installed.

Testing of annunciating devices (bells, horns, sirens) will be performed prior to 8:00 a.m. on Friday May 30^th.  Personnel from Richardson Fire Systems to be performing all verification activities with support from ³Ô¹ÏÍø's Facilities and Asset Management department.

No action is required unless otherwise indicated by on-site staff.
