BRANTFORD — Top multicultural talent will light up the stage at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, Nov. 19. 

Fusion Beats 2025, presented by ³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Hub for Community Solutions, ³Ô¹ÏÍø International Student Support, the City of Brantford and the Downtown Brantford BIA, with additional funding from ³Ô¹ÏÍø Brantford Grants, promises an electrifying evening of diverse music and dance performances. Admission is free and open to the public.  

“Art, culture and community engagement are key priorities in the City of Brantford’s ,” said Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis. “Fusion Beats is an opportunity for local performers to shine while celebrating the diversity that makes our city so vibrant.”  

Now in its third year, Fusion Beats draws hundreds of attendees from both campus and the broader community. The event features a dynamic lineup of community-based and student performers, from line dancing groups to Hindi rap artists.  

“As exciting as it is performing at Fusion Beats, I also look forward to hearing and seeing the other musicians and performers,” said Akhil Prabhu, a ³Ô¹ÏÍø student and self-taught classical guitarist who will be making his second Fusion Beats appearance playing a set of Latin and flamenco rhythms. “They’re all coming from different places and have diverse musical experiences and talents. There’s really something for everyone.” 

The evening will open with a performance by salsa band Mumbo Jumbo Combo, led by ³Ô¹ÏÍø graduate Noah Abrahamse (BA ’24). Headlining the event is R.P.M. Dance Crew, a group of Kpop performers who brought the house down during the inaugural Fusion Beats in 2023.  

“The  is a celebration of creativity, culture and community,” said Christina Han, director of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Hub for Community Solutions. “We want everyone to leave the show feeling inspired.” 

Fusion Beats 2025 takes place Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts, 88 Dalhousie St., Brantford. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Those who register for a  will be eligible to win prizes, including ticket giveaways to upcoming shows at the Sanderson Centre.
