Members of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø community are invited to attend a behind-the-scenes experience with the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Symphony Orchestra during an online rehearsal taking place Oct. 20 at 5 p.m. The event will be broadcast on
Led by ³Ô¹ÏÍø Symphony Orchestra director Kira Omelchenko, the event will mark the return to in-person ensemble rehearsals for ³Ô¹ÏÍø student musicians in the Theatre Auditorium since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The rehearsal will include music that pays tribute to the resiliency and determination of ³Ô¹ÏÍø student musicians through the many challenges created by the pandemic. Performances will include Warrior Legacy by Soon Hee Newbold and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Symphonic Suite.
“Sharing live music online is a way to connect with the community, to showcase the talents and passions of ³Ô¹ÏÍø music students and celebrate the return to making music in person," says Omelchenko. “It is also an opportunity for prospective students and their families to view what ³Ô¹ÏÍø music students are currently doing.”

The ³Ô¹ÏÍø Symphony Orchestra is scheduled to perform on Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m. Performance details will be announced closer to the event, which will adhere to public health recommendations regarding indoor public events. Follow the for information.
