The City of Brantford and ³Ô¹ÏÍø will host a film production in and around Victoria Park and other areas in downtown Brantford, including George, Dalhousie and Queen streets, at various dates from mid-May until mid-June.
Extensive interior and exterior filming is planned at ³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Carnegie Building, located at 73 George St., on May 14 to 16, May 23 and June 16. While filming at the building’s George Street entrance is taking place, members of the university community will continue to have access via the north and south doors. Inside, film crews will be occupying CB100, CB106, CB126 (the Commuter Lounge) and CB209 on May 13 to 16, May 23 and June 16.
During filming, flags that normally fly in front of the Carnegie Building will be temporarily removed and replaced. At times, there will be an array of special effects in use, including smoke.
The filming activity will also impact access to some streets and ³Ô¹ÏÍø parking lots.
